Bigfoot: What is a Bigfoot or Sasquatch

Bigfoot or Sasquatch is believed to be an ancient hairy ape-like creature or giant humanoid that lives in remote areas far from civilization.

It is described as being anywhere from 7 to 9 feet tall, with a muscular body that is covered completely in hair minus the face. Some footprints that were found have measured in at over 20 inches long! In other words, Bigfoot is basically a giant hairy creature of the unknown.

Where the Bigfoot Lives

Typically they tend to dwell in deep forest areas where they are able to blend in easily with their surroundings. However they have also been spotted within caves and various other types of rocky terrain, such as hard to teach snow covered mountains.

Remember the abominable snowman? That’s just another name for a Yeti, Bigfoot or Sasquatch! They are all the same type creature known by different names based on their area of origin.

How Long Has Bigfoot Been Around?

Many people mistakenly think that the mystery of Bigfoot is a new phenomenon but in fact in dates way back in time to ancient Britain and Nepal. Basically as far back as our historical records date you will find stories and reports of giant Sasquatch type creatures.

Sasquatch vs Humans

Interactions between humans and Bigfoot have for the most part been neutral according most reported sightings but that’s not always the case. In fact it’s hard to say they’ve been anything more than neural at best and terrifying in the least.

Typically sightings take place completely by mistake, not via tracking them down unlike some TV shows would love you to believe. And when they do occur the people are usually scared half to death and flee the area or the Sasquatch will disappear into the surrounding area.

Some cases unfortunately have been extremely scary with the person literally having to flee for their life, especially in cases involving the Yeti or Abominable Snowman. All people should take extreme caution if you ever find yourself in the vicinity of a Bigfoot.
