Orang Pendek of Sumatra

According to Indonesian legends, a cryptid known as the Orang Pendek is said to inhabit the dense, mountainous forests of Sumatra.

Often described as a small, hobbit-like figure, its name translates to “short person.” This creature is believed to walk upright on two legs and is characterized by its short stature, standing around 30 to 60 inches tall, with a body covered in hair.
