Wiccan Holiday List: The Major Pagan Celebrations

Pagans and Wiccans have their own annual holidays or celebrations that they observe each year. Below is a list of all the major Wicca/Pagan Observances.

Beltane: The conjoining of the goddess with the energy of the god in the sacred marriage which is the basis of all creation.

Imbolc: A reflection on the power of the gods from which physical and spiritual harvest will come.

Mabon: The autumnal equinox or harvest festival.

Ostara: Welcoming of spring and the goddess in maiden form.

Samhain: Celebration of endings and beginnings. Also the remembrance of the dead. Revering of elders also takes place.

Yule: The pagan celebration of winter, symbolized by the rebirth of the sun. A present day Wicca event.
