Belgian Tarot Card from 1945: Nouveau Tarot Astrologique

I absolutely love these antique tarot cards. The black and white artwork just draws me in. The image displays six cards from the Nouveau Tarot Astrologique (New Astrological Tarot) from the Collection de Tarot Kausium Belgium.

Nouveau Tarot Astrologique is the modern name for Le Tarot Astrologique, a 1927 French oracle deck that combines astrology with cartomancy. It was created by occultist George Muchery and illustrated by artist Henri Armengol.

Unlike a standard 78-card tarot deck, this deck contains 48 cards focused on astrological divination.

What is in the Deck?

36 zodiac sign cards: Three cards for each of the 12 zodiac signs, representing the beginning (0°), middle (10°), and end (20°) of each sign.

9 star and planet cards: Cards representing the traditional planets and luminaries used in astrology.

3 additional cards: The Ascendant, the Lunar Nodes (ascending and descending), and the Part of Fortune.
