Mysterious Missing Person Case of The Springfield Three

The Springfield Three refers to three women who went missing from Springfield, Missouri on June 7, 1992: Suzanne “Suzie” Streeter, Stacy McCall, and Sherrill Levitt. The case, which remains unsolved to this day, has garnered national attention and has been the subject of numerous articles, television shows, and documentaries.

On the night of June 6th, Suzie Streeter and Stacy McCall graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield and celebrated with a sleepover at Sherrill Levitt’s home. The following morning, the three women were reported missing, and their disappearances have remained a mystery for over 28 years.

3 Women Vanished Together

At the time of their disappearance, Suzie Streeter was 19 years old, Stacy McCall was 18, and Sherrill Levitt was 47. Levitt was the mother of Stacy McCall and the owner of the home where the women were last seen. The three women were described as being close friends and it was unusual for them to be out of contact for an extended period of time.

The investigation into the disappearance of the Springfield Three has been extensive, with law enforcement agencies following up on numerous leads and conducting extensive searches in the area. However, despite their efforts, the women have not been located and their fate remains unknown.

Case Theories

Over the years, there have been a number of theories and speculations about what might have happened to the Springfield Three. Some people believe that they may have been the victims of foul play, while others think that they may have left of their own accord. There have also been a number of reported sightings of the women over the years, but none of them have been confirmed.

Serial Killer Connection?

One theory that has gained a significant amount of attention is the possibility that the women were victims of a serial killer known as the “I-70 killer.” This individual is believed to have been responsible for a number of murders and disappearances along the I-70 corridor in the 1990s. However, there is no concrete evidence linking the Springfield Three case to the I-70 killer, and the theory remains unproven.

Gone Into Hiding?

Another theory suggests that the women may have been involved in illegal activities and may have gone into hiding or been killed as a result. However, this theory is also largely based on speculation and there is no concrete evidence to support it.
