Samhain grows in popularity as more practice witchcraft in New Jersey
Most people celebrated Halloween and don’t really think of it as an actual Holiday but in New Jersey more people are celebrating Samhain than ever before. This is a celebrating of the end of the fall harvest and is observed by practitioners of Wicca and Witchcraft of various types.
North Jersey describes it as follows:
“Samhain, celebrated on Oct. 31 and pronounced “SAA-win,” marks the end of the fall harvest… it’s a time when the veil between the living and the spirit world is thought to be especially thin…”
